65% of rural youth and women are Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEET), limiting their opportunities for economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. Many rural women remain financially dependent on their spouses due to limited access to marketable skills and income-generating opportunities. To address this challenge, ADEGCO in partnership with Imagine Her launched the Social Enterprise and Innovation Program (SEIP) aiming at equipping rural youth and women with entrepreneurial and innovation skills to establish social enterprises that generate sustainable income while addressing pressing community challenges, creating jobs, strengthening local economies, and driving inclusive community development.
