Computer Skills Training for Young Mothers

In Bukedea District, recent Education Department reports show that 30% of teenage girls drop out of school due to early pregnancies and marriages. This has led to a rise in young mothers and families facing economic hardship and domestic violence, largely driven by unemployment and over-dependence on spouses.
The Computer Skills Training for Young Mothers project aimed to empower 30 young mothers through a six-month practical computer skills training. Successful mothers received their certificates, and we are now linked and recommending them to available employment opportunities in computer and stationery shops within and beyond Bukedea District.
